Steve Puckering founded Smart Technology Advisers in 2012 and has been designing bespoke technology systems for superyachts ever since.

Depending on the client’s requirements, the company specs out integrated control systems, audio and video functions, security solutions, temperature regulation, communication technology and navigation systems. To give clients peace of mind, the security offering includes the installation of tracking and detection systems, cameras, drone surveillance and even safe rooms.

Outside of the security space, their portfolio of past projects includes installing the world’s first IMAX cinema on a private yacht and fitting outdoor screens and speakers, interactive bar counters and LED-equipped reactive staircases. The shipyard carries out the work, and Smart works purely as a recommendation and advisory service, maintaining its independence.
